Upper Darby Parent Coalition is finding that it is important to attend both the Committee meetings of the School Board, as well as the School Board’s regular monthly meetings. By also attending Township Council meetings, we are able to see the big picture of life in the community. There’s one problem—that’s a lot of meetings! Fortunately, UDPC is a thinking machine! We realized there are lots of parents/guardians who might be willing to help with a one-time effort— people like you!
We are seeking meeting recorders, people who would sign up for just one meeting to write factual minutes that would help the general public stay informed in a timely fashion about the topics that get discussed at meetings, from volunteer policies to budget updates. No editorializing, just the facts. We will then post the recorder’s notes on our website, under the byline of… Recorder! If you want to publish your name with your work, that is fine, too! Anonymous or autographed, it’s work needed to help keep us all informed. Of course, feel free to sign up for more than one slot. There are plenty.
Can you help us out? Sign up for a slot using Sign-Up Genius and we will send you directions for submitting your work.
